CORONA VIRUS DISEASE-19 (COVID19)

 Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

Most people infected with the virus will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring special treatment. However, some will become seriously ill and require medical attention. Older people and those with underlying medical comditions like cardiovascular disease, diabetes, chronic respiratory disease, or cancer are more likely to develop serious illness. Anyone can get the COVID-19 and become seriously ill or die at any age.

Covid 19 came from Wuhan, Hubei District, China, starting on December 8, 2019.

The symptoms/affect of this COVID19 can make you have Dry cough, Fever, Dificulties in breathing, vomiting, loss of taste and smell and some cases asymptomatic.

As of July 2021, there are four dominant variants of SARS-CoV-2 spreading among global populations : the Alpha Variant (FORMERLY CALLED THE UK VARIANT AND OFFICIALLY REFFERED TO AS B.1.1.7), first found in LONDON and KENT, the Beta Variant (FORMED CALLED THE SOUTH AFRICA VARIANT AND OFFICIALLY REFFERED TO AS B.1.351), the Gamma Variant, (FORMERLY CALLED THE BRAZIL VARIANT AND OFFICIALLY REFFERED TO AS P.1), and the Delta Variant (FORMERLY CALLED THE INDIA VARIANT AND OFFICIALLY REFFERED TO AS B.1.617.2) 

To prevent the spread of Covid 19:

. Maintain safe distances from others, even if they dont appear to be sick.

. Wear a mask in public, especially indoors or when physical distancing is not possible.

. Choose open, well-ventillated spaces over close ones. Open a window if indoors.

. Clean your hands often. Use soap and water, or an alcohol-based hand rub.

. Get vaccinated when its your turn. Follow local guidance about vaccination.

. Cover your nose and mouth with your bent elbow or a tissue when you cough or sneeze.

. Stay at home if you feel unwell.

If covid19 is spreading in your community, stay safe by taking some simple precautions, such as physical distancing, wearing a proper mask, keeping rooms well ventilated, avoiding crowds, cleaning your hands, and coughing intoa bent elbow or tissue.
